All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly condemned an AI-generated video posted by the official BJP Assam handle on September 15, calling it “disgusting” and a reflection of the party’s “repulsive Hindutva ideology.”
Taking to X on September 17, Owaisi wrote, “BJP Assam has posted a disgusting AI video that shows a Muslim-majority Assam if there was no BJP… Their dream is a Muslim-mukt Bharat.” He added that the clip exposes the BJP’s view of the very existence of Muslims in India as a “problem.”
The video, which went viral within hours, depicts a fictional Assam where Muslims are portrayed as “illegal immigrants” and Pakistan-linked elements dominate. Scenes show beef being legalized and Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Gaurav Gogoi speaking in front of a Pakistani flag. Netizens accused the BJP of spreading communal fear, misinformation, and Islamophobia.
The post’s caption, “We can’t let this dream of Paaijaan to be true!!” has drawn widespread criticism, highlighting the ruling party’s continued focus on communal and cultural narratives, including Assam’s recent public beef ban.
