Delhi Assembly’s Leader of Opposition and senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing it of making the lives of Delhi’s citizens a “living hell” in just 100 days of governance.
"BJP has made the lives of the people of Delhi a living hell. Forget making improvements or fulfilling their promises, the BJP even cancelled the policies that were running in Delhi for the last 10 years within its 100 days of tenure,” Atishi said while addressing a press conference in the capital.
She announced the release of AAP's “report card of BJP’s failures”, citing the BJP government’s alleged inability to deliver on its promises, withdrawal of ongoing public welfare schemes, and administrative inaction. “The BJP government in Delhi is a failure in every aspect... We will take this report card to every household in Delhi,” she declared.
The AAP leader further stated that the mood of the people is shifting due to disillusionment with the BJP’s performance. “The people of Delhi feel today that they made a mistake by voting for BJP,” she said.
The AAP has started distributing the “report card” across the city as part of a public awareness campaign, vowing to hold the BJP accountable in every locality.
