The political battle between the BJP and Congress escalated once again as BJP’s national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of “insulting the OBC community” and promoting leaders tainted with corruption.
Addressing the media, Bhatia said,“The most corrupt party held a conference on the OBC society yesterday. Rahul Gandhi himself has always insulted the OBC community and the Prime Minister, who comes from the OBC community.”
He went on to question Gandhi’s integrity and legal status, alleging, “There are many serious charges against him, including corruption, and he is out on bail.”
Bhatia also criticised Rahul Gandhi’s endorsement of certain Congress leaders during the event, saying, “Rahul Gandhi said that your ideals are sitting here. According to Rahul Gandhi, that ideal is Siddaramaiah, who is accused of the MUDA scam. Bhupesh Baghel and his son are accused of many scams...”
Drawing a sharp contrast with the ruling government’s stance, Bhatia reiterated the BJP’s anti-corruption commitment:
“The government has resolved to make the country corruption-free, but Rahul Gandhi says that those who are corrupt have the qualities to become leaders...”
