BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia on Tuesday criticized Congress for its controversial 'Gayab' post targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming that it sends a dangerous message of support to Pakistan. Speaking to reporters, Bhatia drew a connection between the Congress post and a recent protest outside the Pakistan High Commission in London, where a Pakistani officer reportedly made a threatening gesture towards Indians.

“The people of Indian origin all over the world are protesting outside Pakistan's Embassy and High Commission. In London, during the protest outside the Pakistan High Commission, their officer comes out from the balcony and makes a gesture that we will behead Indians," Bhatia said. “This signal was caught in the Congress headquarters, in Rahul Gandhi's antenna. The same kind of picture is posted here for the Prime Minister.”

Bhatia went on to question whether it was wrong to say that Congress was aligning itself with Pakistan in its rhetoric. “So is it wrong to say that Congress is saying that we are with Pakistan?” he asked, highlighting the party’s actions and statements as a dangerous form of appeasement.
