Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a sharp attack on the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) during a public meeting in Motihari, accusing both parties of neglecting Bihar’s development for decades.

Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd, Yogi highlighted Bihar’s historical legacy and intellectual contributions, contrasting them with its present struggles in literacy and employment.

"The Bihar that has had its own glorious history, the Bihar that gave Nalanda University, how did it end up at the bottom in literacy in the country?" Yogi questioned, as the crowd erupted in chants.

He further said, "For this sin, Congress and RJD are equally guilty, who used Bihar for their own selfish interests but did not allow the talent and intellect here to be utilised in Bihar's development. The youth here were forced to migrate."

Yogi Adityanath also lauded the progress made under the NDA government, crediting Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for strengthening the state’s governance model. “In the last 20 years, under the leadership of NDA and Nitish Kumar, the foundation of good governance in Bihar has been strengthened,” he said, asserting that the current government has worked to restore Bihar’s dignity and provide opportunities for its youth.
