Early Life and Education

Gauriben Maganbhai Sapariya was born around 1968 and has been a resident of Surat for several decades. She completed her primary education at Chavda Prathmik Shala in Jamnagar, where she studied up to the 5th standard, completing her schooling in 1982. Her roots in grassroots communities and her simple educational background reflect her deep connection with ordinary citizens, especially women and underprivileged sections of society.

Political Career

Gauriben is a dedicated member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and was elected as the Corporator from Ward 9 of Surat in the 2021 municipal elections. She represents the Rander–Jahangirabad–Palanpur area, a culturally diverse and densely populated locality. Since her election, she has focused primarily on local development, cleanliness, civic infrastructure, and addressing public grievances.
