The message was reportedly received on Seth's mobile phone on Friday evening. Acting swiftly, the minister informed the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Delhi about the threat the same evening. He later met with the DCP to provide details, prompting an immediate investigation into the case.
Trail Leads to Ranchi?s Kanke
Preliminary investigations have traced the mobile number used to send the message to the Kanke area of Ranchi, Jharkhand. In light of this, Sanjay Seth personally contacted Jharkhand Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag Gupta to file a formal complaint.

Both Delhi and Jharkhand police are collaborating to track down the sender and verify the source of the threat. The authorities have assured swift action to apprehend the culprit and ensure the safety of the minister.
