RJD leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, has launched a scathing attack on the Nitish Kumar-led government, accusing it of a complete breakdown of law and order in the state.
In a strongly worded statement, Yadav said, "...There is not even a single district in Bihar where these (rape) kinds of incidents are not taking place...There is a total collapse of law and order in Bihar..."
Highlighting the growing concerns over rising crime, Yadav further alleged that not only are crimes such as rape rampant across the state, but police brutality against innocents in jails is also becoming common. "The innocents are being beaten by the police in jails," he said.
He didn't hold back in criticizing the leadership of the state, stating, "The Chief Minister and Deputy CMs only care about power...Bihar CM does not care about the people of Bihar...Crimes in the state are increasing."
