Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday outlined several key initiatives and achievements in Bihar, emphasizing development, employment, and welfare for the state’s citizens.
Speaking in Gaya, PM Modi said, "Major projects are being developed in Bihar. In Dobhi, Gaya district, the state’s largest industrial area is coming up. A technology center is also being established in Gaya. Today, the power plant at the Buxar Thermal Plant was inaugurated..."
Highlighting housing achievements, he added, "In the past nine years, over four crore poor families have been provided with permanent houses... In Gaya, over two lakh families have received their own permanent homes..."
On serving the underprivileged, PM Modi stated, "Eliminating hardships from the lives of the poor and making life easier for women gives me the greatest satisfaction as a servant of the people..."
Speaking about youth employment, he said, "Just last week, on 15th August, the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana was launched nationwide. Under this scheme, when our youth get their first job in the private sector, the Central Government will provide them ₹15,000, and private companies that employ them will also receive additional support from the government. This scheme will greatly benefit the youth of Bihar."
Referring to political challenges, PM Modi added, "The NDA government in Bihar is responding to the hateful campaign of Congress and INDI Alliance. We are working with the aim that the sons and daughters of Bihar get employment, live a life of dignity, and parents are able to take care of their families."
Finally, on project execution, he said, "Now, after the foundation-laying, efforts are made to complete the work successfully within the stipulated time. Today’s achievement is a splendid example of this..."
