As the Union Budget Session 2025 commenced today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the media, reiterating his government's unwavering commitment to transforming India into a 'Viksit Bharat' (Developed India) by 2047. In his address, PM Modi expressed confidence in achieving this vision, stating, "I can say this with full faith that in 2047, India will stand as a developed nation, realizing the dreams of every citizen."
The Prime Minister also took a subtle dig at the Opposition, emphasizing the need for constructive politics and collaboration to achieve national goals. "While we are working tirelessly for the nation's progress, some are busy with their own agendas. But India's aspirations cannot be delayed by such distractions," he remarked.
The Budget Session, which began today, will see the presentation of the Economic Survey on February 1, followed by the Union Budget on February 3. The session is expected to focus on key legislative and financial measures aimed at accelerating economic growth, boosting infrastructure, and addressing critical sectors like healthcare, education, and employment.
