Reacting sharply to the release of the new draft voter list by the Election Commission, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav announced that his party will approach the Supreme Court to seek intervention.
He said, "We will appeal to the Supreme Court to take cognizance of the matter and seek clarification from the Election Commission regarding the names of lakhs of genuine voters in Bihar that may have been deleted. We will request the Court to ask the Commission to provide a booth-wise clarification on who has been shifted, who is unrepresented, who has passed away, along with their EPIC numbers."
