Union Minister and JD(U) MP Rajiv Ranjan Singh, also known as Lalan Singh, has criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his ongoing Yatra, calling it a "fashionable" movement. Singh took a direct swipe at Gandhi's rhetoric, stating, "He is doing a 'fashionable' yatra and roaming around with the Constitution. He talks about employment, but does he know the definition of employment?"
Singh's comments came during a press interaction, where he expressed skepticism about Gandhi’s understanding of key issues like employment. "Rahul Gandhi's claims about creating employment seem disconnected from reality. Does he even know what constitutes employment, or is this just another of his political gimmicks?" Singh remarked.
The Union Minister's remarks come amid ongoing debates surrounding the unemployment issue in India, with both the ruling BJP and opposition parties exchanging barbs on the topic. Singh, representing the JD(U), further downplayed the significance of the yatra, labeling it as a political stunt rather than a serious initiative for addressing the nation’s concerns.
