Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 194 development projects worth ₹1,184 crore in Ambedkar Nagar district. Addressing the gathering, the CM emphasized the state government’s unwavering commitment to farmers' welfare and infrastructure growth.
CM Yogi said, “A total of 11,690 farmer families will benefit through over ₹500 crore being distributed under the 'Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Bima Yojana'. This year, all families of farmers affected by disasters will receive a token assistance of ₹5 lakh each from the UP government.”
He added that “today, this amount will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of all 431 such families,” highlighting the state’s initiative to ensure speedy and transparent aid distribution.
The CM’s announcement was welcomed by the crowd, especially local farming communities who are expected to benefit significantly from the financial relief and developmental investments. The new projects include improvements to local infrastructure, irrigation, roads, and public facilities.
