In a strong statement following the deadly terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath vowed to take stringent action against those responsible for the attack, emphasizing that there would be no leniency for terrorists or their supporters.

"This is not a government that withdraws cases against terrorists or looks at vote banks in such matters. With full force, we will crush the venomous fangs of such elements," said CM Adityanath in a statement. He stressed that the perpetrators of the attack, as well as those involved in the conspiracy, would face severe repercussions.

CM Adityanath further reaffirmed the Uttar Pradesh government's commitment to a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism, stating that strict action would be taken in accordance with this policy. "A clear policy of zero tolerance will be evident, and everyone will witness the consequences of this incident in the times to come," he added.
